Membership Drive

We are running a campaign to increase our membership to a level that would enable us to apply for formal recognition.  A move that would bring us benefits and controls that would enable us to have a formal say in the future of the estate.  Presently we have a say but it’s at the discretion of the LLP and L&Q and we would like to formalise this.  

If you are speaking to a neighbour here are a few FAQs:

• How to join: Its really easy just fill out the form https://cloud.chobhammanor.org/join 

• Is there a cost? No

• Does it require any work or effort on the member’s part? No, but we do welcome residents getting involved if they wish

• What are the benefits?  To be honest the residents association operates on behalf of all residents on the estate, regardless of membership so we support our neighbours anyway.  We are hoping that residents would find a way to sign up to membership to help us reach the legal threshold.

• Who does this apply to?  It apples to all residents on the estate whether Housing Association or Private Tenants, Shared Owners, Leaseholders or Freeholders.

Reward Vouchers

To encourage new members a voucher to be spent at Suela’s cafe to the value of £30 will be awarded to a randomly picked new member each month until we reach our goal to register as a legal entity. We are 2 leaseholders short at the moment, so if you are not a member already, hurry up and sign up here.
