We are working on several fronts to challenge the Fixed Estate Charge (AKA Park Charge).
Following rejection by the Mayor of London the CMRA have approached a KC to assess whether we have a case for Judicial Review. If he rthinks we do then we will seek to crowd fund sufficient cash to support our campaign. We think that our resources will need to be above £100,000 so we are treading carefully.
The recent demand for the FEC from Rendall and Rittner has indicated that many residents are being overcharged. We have raised this with the LLDC and are persuing the LLP for action (with the support of the LLDC).
Here is the spreadsheet that contains evidencde/data presented to the LLDC so far. to open this spreadsheet click on the arrow in the top right hand corner of the image or click on this link
It may help to use our calculator to examnine your demand. this is an online calulator and will give you results for your specific circumstances. It does not record any data entered.
Both spreadsheets and the calculator use the same core calculations and assumptions. You can see and trace the logic in the data presented to the LLDC - so that they can tell us where we are wrong (we dont think we are) and hidden in the FEC calculator for simplicity.
The CMRA continue to challenge the Fixed Estate Charge (FEC). Here are the recent documents for your reference:
