Challenging Short Term Lets

The CMRA is working with a group of residents to campaign for L&Q, London Borough Newham, LLDC and the Chobham Manor LLP and TW to do all they can to restrict and eliminate short term lets such as Airbnb on our estate.   We are gathering details of breaches of lease and freehold and have compiled a position paper which can be obtained following this link. We have a resolution for the AGM as follows:

The CMRA should set up a pressure group to ensure that the relevant managing agents and government bodies do all they can to limit and end Airbnb and short term lets on the Chobham Manor Estate.  

We also have a polite letter to post to any temporary visitors as short term residents to make them aware of our concerns and to invite them to comment to the landlord. If you are interested in getting involved with the action group, please, get in touch with chair@chobhammanor.org.
